Roger Mason Jr., the vice president of the National Basketball Players Association (NBAPA), the labor union that represents NBA players, stated yesterday that Lebron James and other NBA stars will refuse to play basketball next year if the league fails to remove disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the league.  As the reader may recall, a recording was recently released wherein Sterling made several racist and unsavory comments.  Mason further emphasized that it would be unacceptable to players if anyone in Sterling’s family still owned the team next year.
