Yesterday, adjunct professors at Point Park University petitioned the National Labor Relations Board for permission to hold a union election. According to the United Steelworkers, a full half of the University’s 300 adjunct professors signed the petition. The adjuncts are attempting to organize in order to secure higher wages, as well as job security protections.
