Solomon Renominated as NLRB GCBen James of Law360 ($$) reports that, last Thursday, President Obama officially renominated National Labor Relations Board Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon to serve another term as the Board’s General Counsel. Unite Here, Centerplate to Resume SF Ballpark NegotiationsPaul Gackle of the San Francisco Examiner writes that Unite Here, the union representing employees at San Francisco’s AT&T Park, and Centerplate are prepared to resume contract talks that abruptly ceased when the union participated in a one-day strike about two weeks ago. About 750 employees participated in the strike, which resulted in the use of management officials and replacement workers to fill open positions. The San Francisco Giants, who play at AT&T Park, have remained silent on the issue thus far. We will keep you posted as talks move forward.

Horseshoe, Unite Here look to Strike Labor AgreementGary Haber of the Baltimore Business Journal writes that the Horseshoe Casino and Unite Here are on the verge of concluding lengthy negotiations surrounding a collective bargaining agreement for the Casino’s employees.
